The lender relationships team is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with TG's lender and servicer associates. The team cultivates successful relationships by learning and understanding the lender processes, providing consulting on TG's own processes, and introducing solutions and tools. By understanding and assessing the lender processes, the team works to provide solutions that benefit the student, while also meeting the needs of the lender, the school, and TG. The team also works with TG's Regional Account Executives to integrate new national lender associates into TG.

Kevin Harris
Director

As director, Kevin manages the efforts of TG's lender relationships team to provide excellent service to TG's lender and servicer associates. Kevin joined TG in 1998 with five years of student loan experience and has served as director since 2005. Prior to joining TG, Kevin worked for a large servicer in originations activity and in product marketing for a large national lender.

Kevin graduated from Virginia State University with a bachelor's degree in marketing. An ROTC graduate, he serves as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S.Army Reserve.

Ann Derrick
Senior Lender Consultant

Ann joined TG in October 2004 with more than 10 years of student financial aid and higher education experience. She began in the industry as a college Work-Study student in the financial aid office at Texas A&M University — Commerce. Ann has served in many roles throughout her career, including academic advisor, admissions counselor, financial aid advisor, and as the senior program advisor for student activities and campus life. She also has 10 years of progressive sales and marketing experience in the high tech industry, and joined TG’s lender consulting team in January 2006.

Ann holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University — Commerce.

Beth Gonzalez
Lender Consultant

Beth joined TG and the lender relationships team in January 2006 with 10 years of financial aid and education lending experience. Prior to joining TG, Beth worked for seven years at Edfinancial Services in Knoxville, Tenn. Her experience includes originations, disbursements, CommonLine, ELM, profiles, and system logic. She uses her knowledge of lender operations to help develop smooth processes for lenders and servicers with TG’s products.

Beth holds a bachelor’s degree from Johnson Bible College, where she was introduced to the industry as a student worker in the financial aid office.

Aubrey Stelly
Senior Lender Consultant

As a senior lender consultant, Aubrey is responsible for identifying and building solid business relationships with other industry leaders. He also participates in the creation of new ventures for TG.

Aubrey joined TG in 1988 as the trainer for the loan servicing division. Since then, he has held positions in the lender/school services, policy and regulatory affairs, business development, and customer services teams.
