Overview
Under the Total and Permanent Disability Discharge program, if you have a Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL), such as a Federal Stafford loan(s), Consolidation Loan(s), and/or a PLUS loan(s), and meet federal eligibility requirements, you may qualify for discharge of your student loan obligations. A loan discharge is a release of your obligation to repay your loan, either in whole or in part.
