Team Member Efforts

TG's team members play an important role in energy conservation at TG and in the wider community. In celebration of this year's Earth Day, TG encouraged team members to join Energy Star's "Change a Light, Change the World" campaign. Participants pledged to exchange incandescent light bulbs for compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) in their homes. TG received 286 pledges from team members to change 1,846 incandescent bulbs to CFLs. The estimated savings from such an effort? 520,572 kilowatts of electricity; $48,413 in cost; and 755,014 pounds in greenhouse gases.
